Child Development Centers
As the Department of Defense continues the modernization of facilities and programs serving active military personnel, a series of new Child Development Centers were needed to offer comprehensive early education and childcare services.

UCSD Radiotherapy Facility
UCSD was looking to add state-of-the-art medical linear accelerator and radiotherapy equipment to offer the latest advances in radiation therapy to their patients. The client teamed with RAD Technology, Whitley Manufacturing, and Walden Structures to complete the technically demanding facility.

Dialysis Clinic (Hearne, Texas)
A repeat client who specializes in providing dialysis and renal services to a national group of patients was in need of a high-quality building with complicated systems delivered on an accelerated timeline.

University Hospital (Office Building)
When the client needed an interim facility to maintain services over the course of a 10+ year master building plan - a modular building was the only facility that could deliver the flexibility required.

Richmond Branch Office
When an industrial equipment provider needed permanent office space quickly as the end of their current facility lease was rapidly approaching.

Millenium Community School (58,000 SFT)
Three classroom wings, or "spokes", radiate outwards from a central core containing admin offices in this expansive permanent charter school. The client needed a quality facility delivered within budgetary constraints and completed on an accelerated timeline - and we were able to deliver.

Old Redford Middle School (20,000 SFT)
A permanent middle school building that blends durable, non-combustible construction, high-end finishes, and energy saving, sustainable designs and systems into an affordable package, delivered on an accelerated timeline.

St. Xavier University (1,600 SFT Art Studio)
The University needed a high quality building that would embody a modern design aesthetic, while honoring the traditional materials of the buildings surrounding it. The project had a tight budget and timeline.

Frank & Anne Oropeza Hall
A twin to the award-winning Evans-Kimmell Hall, Frank & Anne Oropeza Hall houses over 60 students in semi-private suites across four stories of space. A modern design aesthetic and durable finishes complement the building which was completed on an accelerated timeline with only 90 days between groundbreaking and occupancy.

Shoreline School District (8 Music Ed. Buildings)
2009 Modular Building Institute Award of Distinction winner. Shoreline, Washington's school system was in need of facilities for their expanded music education program. Their facilities required a modern aesthetic that maintained the flexibility for future relocation or re-purposing of the buildings.

The Meadows (Award-Winning Green Building Design)
This design by Whitley Manufacturing student intern Tyler Stanley won the Modular Building Institute's Award of Distinction for Green Building Design. The building design is for a senior community center located in Crozet, VA. Entries were judged based upon: thermal comfort, indoor air quality, daylighting, acoustics, energy efficiency, resource strategy, architectural excellence and economic practicality.

Wayne State University - Detroit
Wayne State wanted to move up. They wanted a press box and observation deck and VIP box to reflect the growing prestige of their football program. On top of that, the old press box was quickly deteriorating.

Bank of the Pacific
This Bellingham, WA bank (created with NewGround) features a unique Craftsman-motif and the latest in technology and design, serving both administrative and retail operations.

RAD Technology PRO System (Plano, TX)
This Plano, TX medical building incorporates the latest in cancer-fighting techonoly: the medical linear accelerator. This high tech equipment is encased RAD Technology's PRO System (TM) Modular Radiation Treatment Center building system and vault.

Sinai Hospital (23,000 sft)
The city of Baltimore enjoys a selection of world class hospitals and Sinai is one of the most esteemed in the area. The hospital administrators had a vision for their project and had developed exacting specifications for the building.

Memorial Hospital (14,000 sft)
Whitley Manufacturing's accelerated construction system delivered this multi-story hospital expansion in a fraction of the time offered by site construction. The new wing houses a variety of personnel and features open meeting spaces as well as private offices.

DaVita Dialysis (KY) (5,400 sft)
Speed of delivery, as well as ease of use were both integral to the DaVita decision to build a new Kentucky facility, and to employ us to provide that state-of-the-art clinic.

NPH Dialysis (11,700 sft)
Construction of new, modern dialysis clinics has grown dramatically in the past few years. We have built many of the best of these new buildings, each with attention to detail and a comforting design to present the proper setting for patients, many of whom may be in treatment for hours.

Hereford Health Center (14,000 sft)
A 14,000 square foot facility that would be used for 15 years...these buildings are often torn down when they outlive their use. Not modular buildings though, this building was designed for relocation. The hospital can now continue using their investment after it has been moved and repurposed.

Greenfield Clinic (3,600 sft)
The administration of GAMC chose to think outside the box. They needed a cutting-edge new look to attract professional, young doctors. So they utilized the cutting-edge construction system offered by modular buildings.

DaVita Dialysis (LA) (5,400 sft)
DaVita was satified enough with the first building we constructed for them that they ordered a second facility for flood-ravaged New Orleans. We appreciate repeat customers, take pride that they put trust in us a second time and are glad to help serve the people of the lower Mississippi.

Landstuhl MRI (2,900 sft)
In Landstuhl, Germany some of the very best medical treatment available in the world is provided to American soldiers and our international friends. We built this facility to their exacting standards and are, again, proud to help members of our armed forces.

St. Elizabeth (3,672 sft)

Plainview MRI (1,900 sft)
At a certain point it just made sense to add MRI to the portfolio of services provided by this prestigious Long Island hospital. For years patients had been referred elsewhere. We were able to provide a facility, quickly, that benefited both the hospital and its patients.

Geauga Hospital (5,000 sft)
Geauga's hospital campus needed 5,000 additional square feet of office and conference space. Among their conditions for the project was an expectation that the existing landscape would be preserved, that there be no construction disruption to the campus and that all was to be completed in 140 days.

Corporate Office (70,000 sft)
When you are building the headquarters for the nation's leading modular building distributor, it is a functional office, but at the same time, a showpiece. This building shows the potential of modular construction, short timelines, controlled costs, modern design and the finest materials.

Government Center (15,000 sft)
Walla Walla, WA needed a new building to house essential gov't services. The building delivers space with a healthy respect for the historic architecture surrounding the site.

Branch Office (12,000 sft)
The construction of this building happened twice, once in our plant and then again on site. The unique bends and angles of the building needed to be perfect, and they are. It is an example of the best of modular construction.

Greyhound Terminal (11,300 sft)
Greyhound is a venerable name in the transportation industry. One of the major benefits that the company touts is convenience, thus, when the Pittsburgh Terminal would need to undergo protracted renovations, the company contracted Whitley Manufacturing to quickly provide a durable and spacious facility for their Pittsburgh customers.

Branch Office (4,800 sft)
For a modular construction company, a sales office is more than merely a functional building. It is an example of the product that they distribute. Williams-Scotsman chose to partner with Whitley Manufacturing once again for the construction of this office.

Military Office (1,600 sft)
On many of the nation's military bases there are "buildings of necessity". Many facilities are hastily erected during times of war or troop escalation - without the time for proper planning or design. For this office, J.A.G. wished to avoid those pitfalls by constructing something that would be solid and functional for decades.

Agriculture Office (1,600 sft)
Grain is big business in Indiana and even bigger business now that ethanol is seen as a fuel of the future. As the demand for grain expands, additional space is required to accommodate the growing staff. The AgPlus cooperative wanted a building that would be durable enough to withstand the rigors of grain elevator operation, while presenting a refined appearance to potential customers.

D.C. Library (Modular Library)
2007 MBI Award Winner. The D.C. Library project features one of the most unique uses of modular construction that we have ever seen. The building serves as a fully-functional library space. The client desired modernity and the industrial-style interior with exposed trusses, ductwork and lighting delivered a modern look. The exterior follows that trend as well with accents of fencing and boldly colored banners and signage.

Thea Bowman Leadership Academy
When Thea Bowman needed a new facility to accommodate their growing student population, they opted for a unique modular design. Two-story classroom sections provide space for jr. and sr. high school, separating the two with a single-story corridor of admin. space.

Bucks County Correctional (Modular Medium Security Detention Facility)
2007 MBI Award Winner. When prisons need additional space quickly - modular construction is the perfect solution. The modular system offers and accelerated timeline, meaning that the prison can quickly alleviate their overcrowding issues. The fact that the majority of the building is constructed off-site allows the prison to remain secured, rather than becoming an open construction zone.

Evans-Kimmel Hall (4-Story Dorm)
What is a modern, commercial modular building? Evans-Kimmel Hall is the answer. Standing four stories high, the showpiece building will be a prominent feature of the campus.

Maryland Parks Department (Modular Building)
Can an inherently modern building system produce a building that pays homage to the styles of the past? The Visitor's Center at Riversdale proves that it can. Accelerated construction allowed the structure to reach completion in a fraction of the time, while the design is a Neo-Palladian complement to the house.

Marysville, WA (4 Modular Buildings)
The first modular building in the Marysville, Washington campus is complete and classes are being held. Spanning 39,000 square feet - the modular school is designed with the latest educational technology and amenities. Utilizing modular construction, the school was completed on an accelerated timeline and within the district's budget.

Cambridge Lakes (7 Modular School Buildings)
For the first time in Illinois, a learning center is being built using a creative combination of site-built and prefabricated elements. The Cambridge Lakes Charter School also breaks new ground as the first "new construction" charter building and the first "pre-opening" bond issues. It's a breakthrough project!

Old Redford Academy (2-story Modular School)
This building was expected to be a monument to quality education and a beacon for a reviving community. It had to provide an environment that would elicit pride and encourage respectful, studious behavior among children.

Cesar Chavez Charter School (20 Classrooms)
We were able to deliver a unique building within a short construction schedule that saved the school many, many dollars on rent and gave them an educational environment that served their exact needs and goals for their children. We are very proud to have been associated with this project and all the people involved.

French-American School (2 Phases)
This unique, Seattle-area school was constructed in two phases. Whitley-Evergreen collaborated with Williams-Scotsman on the initial phase. As the school's enrollment grew, Whitley-Evergreen joined with Pacific Mobile to construct a second-story onto the existing building. When students departed for Spring Break, work began and the school was effectively able to double their square footage that week.

Walton School (25 Classrooms)
With the student population escalating rapidly, and a budget that was not keeping pace, this school district needed an innovative solution. Unique in design and implementation, this structure from Whitley Manufacturing satisfied all of the district's needs.

Wachusett High School (12 Classrooms)
This is a substantial, imposing addition to a massive high school. Clad in matching brick and built with durability and longevity in mind, the addition also was built to withstand the rigors of legendary New England winters.

Market Street (12 Classrooms)
An inner city project in a tough neighborhood, the building had to be very durable, as well as attractive. The building had to instill a certain level of community pride and help maintain it. It also had to come in under a tight budget with more than a few political eyes cast its way.

Summer Place (7 Classrooms)
Political considerations, as well as budget and a short construction schedule, were integral to this project.

Bainbridge School (16 offices)
Built on a beautiful island by an affluent Washington community, the building had to blend with the natural surroundings. A restrictive budget, a short time-line and unusual government regulations set the parameters for the project.

Wellesley Pre -School (6 Classrooms)
A school should look as playful as the children it serves, so the architects of this school wanted a childish look, so to speak.

East Hampton High School (4-Classroom Modular Building)
2007 MBI Award Winner. Forward thinking schools are using modular structures in new and innovative ways to alleviate overcrowding. The East Hampton building is designed to allow the flexibility to add classrooms in the future. This is a school building that can grow along with their enrollment. It features solid, steel framed construction with poured concrete floors. The Type 2C non-combustible construction meets the strict NY Code Compliance.

East Lake Academy (5 Classrooms)
Whitley's modular system provided the suburban Chicago school with what they wanted: savings, quick turn around and a nice environment for their children.

(Relocatable) Ivy Tech (19 Classrooms)
During the 1990s federal funding for education grew dramatically and there was a construction boom at campuses to accommodate the many new students. Quick action and rapid construction gave Ivy Tech an advantage in attracting those new students.

(Relocatable) Skagit Cty. Migrant (5 Buildings)
The State of Washington needed quality facilities to care for the many, many migrants who come to Washington during "the season" to work in agriculture. Required were a variety of educational and childcare facilities.

(Relocatable) Columbus Prep. (19 Classrooms)
Temporary space was needed to facilitate renovation. The acclaimed school had to have a complete and fully functioning facility fast, very fast, and they only needed it for a couple years. Speed of construction is a specialty of modular design.

(Relocatable) Southfield School Dist. (2 Buildings)
Southfield was struggling with a way to modernize many schools simultaneously while maintaining a full schedule of classes. Modular provided them with a creative, effective solution to a formidable problem.

(Relocatable) Marshall Academy (6 Classrooms)
Marshall, Michigan is a beautiful community between Detroit and Fort Wayne. It is a stop for many people interested in Victorian Mansions and good food. The relaxed pace of life belied the need to quickly build and open a new academy to serve a growing population.

Ardsley-Secor Volunteer Emergency Building
The volunteer fire company faced a set of unusual challenges, as well as the usual problems of cash and time. Instead, however, of turning to modular in a pinch, they worked for over a year with Axis Modular Systems to design a building that would exactly fit their needs...on budget and in plenty of time.

Chambers Bay
Perched on a high bluff overlooking a spectacular bay of Puget Sound, Chambers Bay Golf Course chose a Whitley Evergreen building to serve as its temporary club house, a temporary building elegant enough to host prestigous tournaments and the sophisticated people the tournaments...and the view...attract.

Padilla Bay
Government often faces needs that exceed budgets. Washington state government has a reputation for environmental stewardship and fiscal prudence, so they turned to Whitley for a "green" building that would not anger taxpayers.

Suburban Credit Union - Detroit Area
The growing credit union wanted style and a certain quaint look. They also wanted a strong, impressive building. They chose brick, a classic roof and a lovely old clock on a pedestal.

Valley View School District - Chicagoland
Suburban growth usually means new schools. Sometimes suburban growth outpaces government's ability to bring utilities to a site, and sometimes the cost of a temporary hook up is a budget breaker.

Thomas Howe Academy - Indianapolis
The Howe Academy is an alternative school in Indianapolis with a growing emphasis on sports. They wanted a press box/observation box, but needed only the basics. They got a basic box that would last for many years.

Valparaiso High School - Northwestern Indiana
Valpo HS officials faced a deteriorating press box. They also had to replace their stands. All together it was a massive job and a very costly project, but they found a creative way to get double duty out of a new press/spoter box.

University of Chicago - Chicago
Amos Alonzo Stagg. One of the great names in the history of American football, the former coach of the University of Chicago. They needed a new press box and we were simply proud to have our name associated with such a legend.

Redford High School - Detroit Area
Redford's new press box had to facilitate lots of demanding reporters. A power house in high school football shares the field and that means uplinks, feeds, remote broadcasts and room for cameras.

Norwell High School - Northeastern Indiana
The school's dilapidated, homemade press boxes and bleachers were about to give way, figuratively and literally, to the future. The Norwell facility was decades old, had been constructed by volunteer labor and needed to reflect the growing attraction of their winning program.

Homestead High School - Northeastern Indiana
Fort Wayne's most affluent school needed a press box for their football field. Homestead offers a premier program that has won championships in various sports, so they wanted a very nice facility to facilitate increase press and public interest, which they got.

U.S. Naval Academy - Annapolis, Maryland
Technology and science have always been a part of the education of the officers of the US Navy. Whitley is proud to have provided a facility at the Academy to will assist midshipmen in their intellectual growth.

DuPont Laboratory – Eastern Shore, Maryland
We are proud to serve many of the great names in American industry, among them DuPont de Nemurs. They needed a specialized laboratory to further their research efforts. Whitley was able to meet their exacting needs.

AT&T - Columbus, Ohio
AT&T needed a semi-permanent building to serve their exacting and rapidly changing needs. They also needed a building that would look professional and substantial, if only for a few years. After all, they have long been a global leader in the very rapidly changing world of telecommunications.

Ortho Pharmaceutical - New Jersey
Anybody who has been to a lawn and garden store knows the name, Ortho. Their chemicals make our lawns green and protect them from the bugs that would turn them brown.

DuPont Laboratories
We pride ourselves on excellent customer service. We believe that repeat customers, such as DuPont show the trust we have developed and the quality we provide. This was our second building for DuPont.

Rogers-Yergens Hall (3-Story Dormitory)
Indiana Tech is in our backyard. Tech has grown dramatically in the last decade and the surrounding neighborhood could not support the burgeoning student population. Building a dorm for Tech was undertaken with additional verve because it would stand proudly in our hometown.

Gustavus Adolphus (1-Story Dormitory)
This was an example of how modular construction could come to the rescue. To provide as much space as quickly as we did would have simply been impossible for other construction methods, and we provided a lovely building that would stand up to college freshmen.

Regional Sales Center, Detroit Area
A sales facility should facilitate sales. Both in its design and its ambiance, the building should contribute to the success of the organization. This building in Detroit tells each potential customer that the organization has staying power, is successful and knows quality.

Markle Bank - Van Buren, Indiana
Van Buren is a small farming community...with plenty of wealth. They grow corn there. They produce popcorn and soon, ethanol. So, area banks were in a hurry to plant a branch in the soil. Markle Bank chose modular and started growing their business there first. They beat some much bigger banks to the punch.

Refugee Housing - Bad Soden, Germany
We ship buildings around the world and build to local standards. The tragedy of the Balkan Wars displaced hundreds of thousands, so we are glad that we could help so far awy, if only a little.

Key Bank - Seattle, Washington

Oswego School District - Illinois
